Pa lakka kaala uda we
Yo saa-ath la rabaidaar shi
So lakha ba nor uda we
Chy rawan da marg pa laar shy
[For million of years he remains asleep
And then is awaken for a split second
He will remain asleep for a few million more
After death makes him walk that road]
Shaa ta toor yu samandar day
Makhkay laa tora balaa da
Miyaanz k yo da shabnam saaskay
Po ghorzang laka abshaaar she
[Behind us is a dark ocean
Ahead of us even a darker oblivion
Yet between them lies a breath of dew
Tumbling like a waterfall in bloom]
Da adam zra da kato day
Da daa toora daryabi da
Daasay tlao daasay ratlo kay
Day bay-khoda she khumaar she
[This is the heart of man, what a worthy sight!
His sword like an oceanic wave
Such comings and goings shakes him deep
He forgets God, drunk and unsure]
Wo pakar che saa-ath jwand ay
Pa jarra jarra tera-walay
Ka day der pa Laila mast shi
Khu akhir ba da marg yaar shi
[This brief life, he should have
Spent in crying and repenting
As even if he's madly in love with Layla
In the end; death will be his writ]
Na pa tali marg stomaan yum
Na raat-lonki na yaraygam
Za ba tal dagha say khandam
Ka pa ore shi ka pa daar shi

Da dozakh da hisaabuno
