Ore da meenay pori wo pa maa poray

The fire of love was upon me

Ore wo akhir pori sho pa taa poray

And in the end, the fire reached you

Meenay di sa hase sawda raakrala

Love made a strange deal with me

Hasay khanda rashi pa khanda poray

Now I laugh even at laughter itself

Verse 2:

Dwarro ba yaw bal ta wel che ta waya

Both kept telling each other, "You speak”

Nor mo hees ona way tar saba pori

Yet we said nothing until the morning

Ishqa ibtida di lewany krama

O love! Your beginning has made me mad

Nor ba kry laa sa tar inteha poray

What more will you do until the end

Nan raata pa stargo ke cha satt okro

Today, someone's eyes have called

Ore da suroor poray day pa maa poray

Hase pa kato me zwaani marg balay
